DEATHS AND FUNERALS
MRS. SALLIE J. FULLER
ABBEVILLE, Ga., Feb. 12 -- Mrs. Sallie J. Fuller died this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Monroe.
Mrs. Fuller was one of the oldest settlers of this section of Georgia and if she had lived until next June she would have been ninety years old. She was born at Newbern, N. C., but came to this section when Wilcox county was a part of Irwin county, from Bibb county, where she met her husband, Capt. S. D. Fuller, and was married in that county. She belonged to a prominent family. Her husband, Capt. S. D. Fuller, carried the second company from Wilcox county to the War Between the States and was in the Georgia Senate when he died in 1886 in Atlanta. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Fannie Monroe, of this place, and three grandsons, S. F. Reid, of Abbeville, and Sidney Monroe, of Albany, and R. M. Monroe, of Ashburn; one granddaughter, Mrs. Jack Thompson, of Hawkinsville.
The funeral service will be tomorrow evening at 3 o'clock and the interment will be in the Stubbs cemetery in the family lot beside her husband.
